Jarrod Bowen pushes off pitch invader who tries to gatecrash Europa Conference League final hero’s interview

Jarrod Bowen pushes off pitch invader who tries to gatecrash Europa Conference League final hero’s interview

Bowen scored the winning goal against Fiorentina and was interrupted by a fan singing the Dani Dyer song during his interview.

Jarrod Bowen brilliantly pushed away a West Ham United fan trying to get his own 15 seconds of fame during the star's post match interview after his Europa Conference League winning goal.

Bowen wrote his name into West Ham legend and folklore on Wednesday night as they secured their first major trophy in 43 years.

With time running out in Prague against Fiorentina and the two teams heading for extra time, Bowen got on the end of Lucas Paqueta's through ball to score.

Though they had to play what seemed like an hour of injury time after it David Moyes' side were able to guide themselves to an historic victory.

The scenes during the match had turned ugly when some fans of the Premier League side launched items onto the pitch and one hit and cut Fiorentina captain Cristiano Biraghi.

But at full time the scenes were brilliant with Moyes running onto the pitch with his staff and the rest of the squad to celebrate with the players.

Bowen was understandably given the Player of the Match award as the match winner and was very happy during his post match interview.

Whilst chatting to BT Sport the forward was approached by a fan who wanted to sing the famous 'Bowen's on fire and he's s****ing Dani Dyer,' in reference to him dating the former Love Island star.

The 26-year-old dealt with it perfectly by shoving the person off him and just telling them to 'leave' before continuing his interview.

Speaking on TV the former Hull City player said: "I obviously dreamed of scoring but to score the winner in the last minute.

"It's what you always say you want to do. To do it in front of these fans. I thought I was going to cry. I'm just happy.

"We had a dream, we haven't had the best season, myself included, but to give these fans this moment, I'm over the moon.

"I think in my position you make that run ten times you might get that ball once. As soon as you get it you've got to put it away.

"Never [have I felt like this in my life]. This is the biggest game of my career. The emotion, there was time for one more chance. I'm just so happy.

"I'm over the moon. I'm thinking of the party tonight. Listen to it [the crowd]. Listen."
