The South Korean forward netted a screamer into the top corner, with Hojbjerg watching on in amazement.

He cut a shocked figure as Son wheeled away in celebration.

The Dane's reaction didn't go unnoticed as Spurs' official Twitter account posted a tweet in reference to Son's stunning goal.

"Same, Pierre. Same," they tweeted, accompanied with an image of Son and Hojbjerg in the aftermath of their third goal against Leicester.

Modest as ever, Son played down his 'beautiful' goal as he highlighted his team's 'fantastic' display at home.

"I'm very happy to score a beautiful goal but I'm more happy that we played fantastic," he told Sky Sports.

Son's hits against the Foxes brought up his 18th and 19th Premier League goals of the season.

Only Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has scored more league goals than him as he enjoys another prolific campaign for Spurs.

In fact, he's having his best scoring season in the Premier League and is just three goals away from having his best-scoring season for the club.
