Mark Goldbridge has named the current Liverpool players that he'd put in Manchester United's iconic 1999 treble-winning side.
Man United fan Goldbridge made an appearance on talkSPORT and picked his ultimate XI between the current Liverpool team and Man United's 1999 side.
And just THREE of Jurgen Klopp's charges make his line-up, with the XI dominated by arguably the greatest team the Red Devils have ever had.

"Only Van Dijk, Mane, & Salah get in!" He said.
Goldbridge selected Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah - with the rest of the XI making up of Sir Alex Ferguson's then-stars.

In goal, Peter Schmeichel makes the cut ahead of Alisson. Gary Neville and Dennis Irwin are preferred over Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson, with Jaap Stam partnering Van Dijk at centre-back.
Goldbridge refused to break up the midfield of Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and David Beckham, snubbing the likes of Thiago and Fabinho.
But he's opted for Liverpool duo Mane and Salah in attack ahead of Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke.

On his forward line, he added: "I’d have to put Mane & Salah as a front two. I’m not moving any of the others."
Carlton Cole argued that Cole should be included for being one of the best goal-scorers in Premier League history.
Needless to say, Goldbridge's XI split opinions online.

One Twitter user wrote: "The man rates Neville over TAA? This is just silly."
A second tweeted: "The best team is the 99 team without any Liverpool players in it. As proven by winning the treble."
A third added: "Allison, Vvd, Robertson, Trent, Thiago, Mane and Salah all walk into that team."
A fourth commented: "Not one current Liverpool player gets into the 99 United team. Clueless if you suggest otherwise."
