Manchester City Blow Feyenoord Away In Champions League

For a long time Sergio Aguero was undroppable for Manchester City, then along came Gabriel Jesus and now is the terrifying prospect of both of them together and Aguero proved exactly why tonight.
When Gabriel Jesus first joined Manchester City and was instantly amongst the goals it didn't look good for Sergio Aguero, especially when the Argentine found himself benched.
Pep Guardiola had usually deployed uber attacking line ups for the Sky Blues but he had never actually played two strikers upfront together so something had to give.

Aguero and Jesus together is not a strikeforce any defences in Europe will want to come up against. Image: PA
Jesus injury allowed Aguero back in last season but the Brazilian returned at the beginning of this season however the manager hasn't chosen between them, instead playing them together.
Tonight the scary strike force linked up for the side's Champions League opener against Feyenoord with David Silva, Kevin de Bruyne and Bernardo Silva playing behind them.
Aguero scored City's second on the night with an absolute beauty:

Jesus added a third later on in the half, following on from John Stone's opener, and fans were absolutely loving the pair:
The Aguero / Gab Jesus partnership worries me slightly :flushed:

Remember all the football geniuses saying Jesus- Aguero pairing wouldn't work. Pipe down and enjoy the show Pep's giving you

Jesus & Aguero both scored again. Listen if Pep makes City click this year it's gonna be very very long for everyone in Prem

KDB, two Silvas, Jesus and Aguero with Sterling, Sane and Gundogan on the bench is pure filth. Last year it was Nolito, Navas and Fernando.

Seven goals in 5 games between them so far for Aguero and Jesus. Reckon there's more to come here

My Dad just made a great Dad joke. 'Its a shame Jesus didn't score first as it would have read... Jesus Stones Aguero' this is great banter

Great first half performance. Jesus/Aguero on fire again. De Bruyne's been the standout though - absolute running the game. 0-3.

Stones doubled his tally in the second half to make it 4-0.
This could be one of the great strike partnerships of all time!
