Stoke City flop Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting beat four Toulouse defenders to score a superb individual goal for Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.

The 30-year-old Cameroon international was subbed on in the first half after Edinson Cavani picked up an injury.

And Choupo-Moting rewarded Thomas Tuchel's faith in him in the second half when he opened the scoring in style.

The Cameroon forward picked up the ball inside the box and turned to find himself faced against four Toulouse defenders.

But Choupo-Moting used his quick feet to skip past the players with ease before smashing a powerful shot that bounced off the post and past Baptiste Reynet.

The French champions doubled their lead courtesy of a Mathieu Goncalves own goal, with Choupo-Moting netting PSG's third and his second of the match.

PSG completed their 4-0 thrashing of Toulouse when Marquinhos' bullet header found the back of the net in the 83rd minute.

Tuchel was without PSG wantaway Neymar, who has been linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona this summer.

The PSG boss admitted ahead of the match that the Brazilian superstar was ready to play, but uncertainty around his future in the French capital made him a doubt for the Toulouse clash.

PSG have started their title defence with two wins and one loss, which came in a shock 2-1 defeat to Rennes last Sunday.
