On Saturday they travelled to Carrow Road, with recently relegated Norwich having also mainly struggled so far this season.
Teemu Pukki, who impressed at times in the Premier League last season, had the chance to put his side ahead early in the second half on Saturday.
George Evans blocked Onel Hernandez's shot with his arm, earning the hosts a penalty, but Pukki slipped in the awful conditions and sent his shot over the bar.
Phillip Cocu's side gave up 67% of possession in the game, with Norwich also having 13 shots, but their tactics took them out of the relegation zone for the first time this season.
