Josip Ilicic scored a hat-trick as Atalanta ran riot against Torino in Serie A on Saturday evening and he bagged the goal of the game with his long range free kick.

Atalanta got to the point where words were needed on the vidiprinter on Saturday when they won 7-0 '(Seven)' against Torino.

Midfielder Ilicic had the best day as he took home the match ball and nothing could be him for moment of the game as he exposed Torino goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu's positioning to score a quick free kick from just inside the Turin side's half.

Gian Piero Gasperini's side went 1-0 up through Ilicic after just 17 minutes and goals from Robin Goosens and Duvan Zapata made it 3-0 before half time, with the third coming in injury time.

The visitors were 5-0 up inside the first ten minutes of the second half as Ilicic scored twice in a minute to wrap up his hat-trick with the free kick.

Armando Izzo was sent off for the Turin hosts before substitute Luis Muriel added the sixth and seventh of the game and Torino were reduced to nine men when Sasa Lukic was also sent for an early shower.

The three points took Atalanta level on points with Roma in fourth place, though the capital side do play later in the weekend to them, and really gives them a chance to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Torino remain in mid table but Saturday is certainly a day they'd like to forget.
