Some fans climbed a tree to watch Getafe vs. Barcelona on Saturday, with the video making for hilarious viewing.

Xavi's Barca travelled to Getafe for a league clash, with a group of supporters going to extreme lengths to watch the La Liga fixture.

Dedicated to watching the match without having to buy a ticket, three people climbed a tree to gain a vantage point for Getafe vs. Barca.

The fans, who were bizarrely kitted out in a Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain shirt, got people online talking.

One Twitter user joked: "Scenes when one of them gets hit by a Sergi Roberto volley attempt."

A second tweeted: "Tbf they’re having a birds view of the game."

A third added: "Xavi’s terror ball is not worth seeing."

A fourth said: "I suspect they have since climbed down in disgust."

Another added: "climbed a whole tree to see us draw to Getafe i have to laugh."

Unfortunately for the trio, they didn't see much action as Getafe and Barca played out a goalless draw.

But the Catalan giants remain at the top of the league, 11 points clear of nearest rivals Real Madrid.
