It will come as no surprise to many but we'll say it anyway. Barcelona's Lamine Yamal might just become one of the greatest wonderkids in Football Manager history.

The highly-rated winger, born in 2007, has been breaking records left, right and centre since becoming Barcelona's youngest ever player, aged 15 years, 9 months and 16 days.

After playing regularly under Xavi, Yamal made more history by becoming Spain's youngest ever goalscorer in a 7-1 win.

And weeks later, he became the youngest player to start a Champions League game at 16 years and 83 days, beating previous record holder Celestine Babayaro.

It has been a whirlwind few months for the teenager, who has recently been handed some quite ridiculous stats by the guys at Sports Interactive.

Lamal, who is only 15-years-old when you first start your FM24 save, is blessed with 19 flair on the new game – an attribute many will buzz over.

And the Spaniard will only improve given his 16 determination and 'resilient' personality trait.

As well as having a very high flair stat, Lamal has 15 dribbling, 15 first touch, 16 technique and 16 agility; not to mention some very respectable mentals.

The greatest wonderkid of all time? Potentially. Check out his stats in full below.

Here's how social media reacted to Lamal's stats.

One fan said: "Quite possibly the best wonderkid I have ever seen on FM," while another commented: "Only £20-26m that’s literally everyone’s first deal when they start a save with a semi big club."

A third wrote: "He’s already one of the best dribblers in Europe so it makes sense," while a fourth added: "Develop stamina and technical skills, you have beast right there."

Despite featuring on the latest Football Manager, the teenager will have to wait to make his much-anticipated debut on EA Sports FC 24.

To be added into the game, all players must be 17 years old.

Yamal will have to wait until 13 July, 2024 before he can use himself on the Ultimate Team and Career Mode game modes on EA FC 24.

Barcelona forward Ansu Fati, who is currently on loan at Premier League side Brighton, was left out of FIFA 20 for the very same reason.
