Yesterday, FM26 Touch finally dropped on Apple Arcade, and fans have spotted a hidden hack to play the new game for free.

After a two-year wait, FM26 Touch has launched on Apple Arcade, so that the game can be played on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.

Created by Sports Interactive and SEGA, the new title is designed to put gamers at the 'heart of the beautiful game', with updated features ranging from the inclusion of women's football to a revised user interface and upgraded graphics.

Since its launch, reviews have been mixed, especially due to concerns over the new UI. However, many are enjoying get stuck into Football Manager 26.

On Reddit, one fan wrote, "I'm enjoying it a lot. It's always like this, people get really upset that their new game is not how they want it to be.

"People also forget that video games are supposed to be enjoyed."

Another agreed, as they shared: "I don’t really get the hate it’s getting, I mean yes I'm overwhelmed with all the new things and everything, but really enjoy the game overall so far.

"My opinion is that because it’s new, it’s not directly bad."

A third added: "I love the game. Yes, I don't particularly like the visual aspect of the menus, and I find the window system awkward. But I still really like the game, especially the matches.

"There are bugs, of course, but it's a beta, and I understand everything will be fixed. So yes, I like it, and I'm confident it will improve in the coming weeks."

Yesterday (Tuesday, November 4), Football Manager 26 Touch finally went live on Apple Arcade.

That means, the new game can now be played on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV via the Apple subscription service.

Apple Arcade costs £6.99 per month, but new subscribers can sign up for a free 30-day trial here, and play the new new game for free.

If you have just purchased a new iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, you will receive a whopping three months of Apple Arcade for free - which means you can also play the game for no additional cost.

Speaking about the launch of the new game, Miles Jacobson, Sports Interactive's studio director said: "We're delighted to be bringing FM26 Touch back to Apple Arcade for the start of this new era for Football Manager.

"We think the reimagined user interface will really enhance the experience across Apple devices. In addition, the arrival of the Premier League fully licensed and the introduction of women’s football will further deepen exploration for Arcade players."

According to the brand, gamers can expect smoother player movement, on-pitch detail, and women's football for the first time in its history.

The new game is playable across PC, PS5, Xbox Series S|S, Nintendo Switch, and tablet devices.
