Early access to EA Sports FC 26 is set to open on September 19th but a prominent leak account has revealed the top-rated players in the game almost a month before it launches officially the following week.
FC is the leading football video game thanks to EA Sports' unimpeachable heritage in sports gaming and the ratings assigned to players are highly anticipated by fans and players alike.
With the top ten players apparently revealed by leaker @futlastestinfo and a new player seemingly set to take his place at the top of the pile, the debate has begun in earnest.

The account has claimed that 11 players have an overall rating (OVR) of 90 or 91, making them the top names for any determined Career Mode or EA Ultimate Team aficionado.
Four Premier League players are in the 90+ OVR clan.
Liverpool superstar Mo Salah has put himself on 91 OVR after another stellar season in which he spearheaded the Reds' second title of the Premier League era.

Ballon d'Or holder Rodri missed much of the 2024-25 season but also has 91 OVR.
His Manchester City teammate, Erling Haaland, packs a punch in front of goal with 90 OVR, while Salah's Liverpool colleague Virgil van Dijk is a defensive must-have with the same overall rating.
Five of the top-ranked players have been assigned 91 OVR. Salah and Rodri are joined by Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe as well as Spain duo and two-time Women's Ballon d'Or winners Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmati.

Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham is expected to join Haaland and Van Dijk in the 90 OVR cohort along with Barcelona duo Raphinha and Pedri.
Barcelona Femeni and Norway winger Caroline Graham Hansen completes the 90+ OVR group as we know it so far.
Mbappe, Rodri and Bonmati were also rated at 91 OVR in EA 25. Salah is up from 89 last year, Putellas up from 90. Van Dijk has also gained a point in the last 12 months.
Haaland was rated 91 OVR in the previous game and drops to 90 this year while Bellingham and Hansen are unchanged.
