That's why FIFA 06's top five players is something special.
In the latest edition of the popular EA Sports franchise, Cristiano Ronaldo (94) edged out Lionel Messi (93) as the best rated player in the game.

But what we're trying to get at is the difficulty to be among the games elite players if you're not an attacker.
Enter FIFA 06 - keepers rejoice.
The September 2005 copy (which had Wayne Rooney and Ronaldinho bestowed with the honour of cover image) had not one but THREE goalkeepers in the top five.
Yes, three.
