Pro Evo - great, isn't it? Alright there were a few dodgy years following PES 6 until last year's effort, but let's not allow a dodgy run of form to ruin a classic franchise that gave us the Master League and the greatest band of misfits of all time (here's what they're all up to now, in case you're worried about them).
Anyway, this year's edition is proving to be a genuine return to classic territory from Konami and the latest update has proven to be a goldmine for fans of Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Palmeiras and, erm, Lionel Messi's barnet.
The aforementioned clubs have all had their stadiums beautifully rendered and inserted into the updated version of Pro Evo 2017 while Messi's blonde highlights are recreated in perfectly pixellated detail because, let's face it, the most important part of any footballer is their hair.

On top of this, dozens more players have been given face scan updates, while several legendary retro Liverpool kits have been added to the game, as well.
So, if you're a fan of Liverpool and Dortmund, or you're just Jurgen Klopp, you're quids in with Pro Evo, this year. Just try and see past all the mental unlicensed team names and kits, or in fact, just embrace them and pretend it's 2003 all over again.
