Gabriel Jesus Created A Chance Out Of Absolutely Nothing Against Orlando City, Arsenal Fans Think He's A Huge Upgrade

Gabriel Jesus Created A Chance Out Of Absolutely Nothing Against Orlando City, Arsenal Fans Think He's A Huge Upgrade

Jesus has continued to impress in pre-season.

Gabriel Jesus has made a dream start to life at Arsenal after swapping Manchester for London ahead of the new season.

Jesus signed a long-term deal with the Gunners earlier this month, joining in a £45m move from Manchester City.

He arrived at the Emirates as a direct replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, who rejoined Lyon a free transfer this summer after his contract with Arsenal expired.

Jesus immediately impressed with two goals on debut as Arsenal beat Nurnberg 5-3 in their opening pre-season friendly.

He then followed that up with a brilliant goal in their next game as Mikel Arteta's side beat Everton 2-0 on Sunday.

Arsenal maintained their 100 per cent record in pre-season with a 3-1 victory over Orlando City on Thursday.

This time Jesus was unable to get on the scoresheet, with Gabriel Martinelli, Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson getting the goals for Arsenal.

Nevertheless, the Brazil international still managed to impress, almost scoring a superb solo goal in the second half.

Jesus picked the ball up on the edge of the Orlando area with his back facing to goal.

He then managed to turn the defender before racing clear of another opposing player to reach the byline.

Jesus then fired a shot towards goal, which was well saved by Orlando goalkeeper Pedro Gallese.

The eye-catching move has got Arsenal fans excited for the start of the new season.

"Falling in love w him already," wrote one supporter on Twitter.

"Should've squared it but so refreshing to see an arsenal #9 turn and drive at defenders," added another.

Arsenal fans will be hoping he continues his promising form when the Gunners face London rivals Chelsea in their next pre-season friendly on Sunday.

Arteta's side then face Sevilla in their final warm-up game on July 30 before they take on Crystal Palace in their opening match of the Premier League season on August 5.
