Gabriel Jesus is having driving lessons after Arsenal training, but he can already drive

The former Man City striker is close to a return but he's also working on his driving

Every day is a school day if your name is Gabriel Jesus.

Although it seems his Arsenal teammate Jorginho found the fact that Jesus is having driving lessons absolutely hilarious, judging by a video the midfielder posted on Instagram. And for good reason, as it seems from previous evidence that Jesus already knows how to drive.

Jorginho put the video up on Tuesday afternoon, showing Jesus in the driving seat of a blue car, with a man in the passenger seat and an 'L' plate on the roof.

It seems to have been captured outside Arsenal's London Colney training ground after a morning session with Mikel Arteta and his coaching staff.

"Gabi!" shouts Jorginho, as Jesus winds down the window of the car.

"Hi, what are you doing?"

"Practising my friend," comes the reply from a slightly bashful looking Jesus.

Jorginho can then simply be heard giggling, as Jesus says: "Can I practice in your car?" to which the former Chelsea man replies: "No chance mate, good luck, good lesson" – before more fits of laughter from the Italian international.

Arsenal fans will hope this isn't the only way Jesus is getting himself moving again, though they may be encouraged to see he's desperate to improve in all facets of life.

Reports claim the Brazilian wil be included in the matchday squad travelling to Portugal for Thursday night's Europa League clash away at Sporting, with the former Manchester City man nearing a return to first team action after a lengthy knee injury absence.

"He’s not far now," Arteta said when asked about Jesus ahead of the weekend win over Bournemouth.

"I don’t want to give a timeline, but he’s doing certain things with the team and certain things outside the team still.

"He’s not very close, but he’s not very far. He’s feeling better every day and the doctors are feeling confident with how he’s evolving. We are in a good place with him, I think."
