Portuguese Commentary On Last Night's Goal Is Perfect

JE T'AIME PORTUGALLLL!

The scenes last night when Eder struck home from 25 yards to win the European Championships for Portugal were incredible. The bench emptied to celebrate and Cristiano Ronaldo shed a very happy tear. Meanwhile the Portuguese commentators were enjoying themselves too.

During the tournament we heard the Icelandic commentators losing their sh*t when their team scored a last minute winner against Austria, earning themselves the plumb tie of the last 16, an easy game against England (it still hurts).

However taking nothing away from our friends from Scandinavia they may have been topped by the wonderful joy and emotion from their Portuguese counterparts when Eder scored last night's winner.

After such an emotional night that saw Cristiano Ronaldo go off injured with tears after just 25 minutes before later returning to deliver personal heartfelt messages to the players before extra time and an impassioned speech to the whole squad at halftime of the extra 30 minutes.

It was some winner by Eder too, scoring with a brilliant shot just three minutes from the end and you really can't blame the commentators for going wild. Imagine English commentators if England ever won a tournament, okay so maybe not if it was Michael Owen. Quite frankly we don't deserve to win anything if it's going to be Owen commentating on the event!
