He may be one of the most disliked and irritating players in the Premier League for opposing supporters and players, but it appears there actually are people who like Diego Costa.
The Chelsea striker celebrated his 28th birthday on Friday (we have checked the records and, yes, despite his grizzled looks, Costa is in fact just 28), a day after he and his Spanish colleagues had secured a decent 1-1 draw away to Italy in their 2018 World Cup qualifying group.

Whilst he did make some headlines, Costa didn't manage to get on the score-sheet against the Italians, but he was still rewarded with a giant cake to celebrate:
Interestingly, the cake wasn't the only present Costa received, as you can see above.
The Blues forward was also presented with a brand-new LG laptop - and we have absolutely no idea why. Perhaps he'd been dropping hints all week - who knows?
