You could be forgiven for forgetting that Egyptian striker Mido ever played for Tottenham, given that his stint at White Hart Lane lasted only 18 months and he followed it up with stints at Middlesbrough, Wigan, West Ham and Barnsley, but the former Ajax and Marseille man still obviously keeps Spurs close to his heart, as he backed Leicester City to buckle under the pressure of the Premier League title run in.
And his little bet has cost him his hair.
While the bookmakers have lost a rumoured £10m on paying out bets on Leicester's miraculous title victory, Mido lost his flowing locks live on air after two months ago confidently claiming that the Foxes didn't have what it takes to win the Premier League. How wrong he was.
Presumably Richard Keys thought this was fantastic 'banter'.
