It's fair to say that one of the more surprising transfer stories of the summer was finding out that Barcelona wanted to sign Paulinho, it only became more surprising when they did sign him. His debut wasn't exactly impactful.
For most of us the name Paulinho is synonymous with a period at Spurs where he did not exactly impress for most of his time in North London, despite a decent start to his career at White Hart Lane.
The Brazilian was one of the five players who was signed by the Premier League club to replace Gareth Bale when he moved to Real Madrid for a then world record fee, one of Daniel Levy's Beatles replacing Elvis.

After a poor ending to his time at Tottenham the midfielder moved to China to play for Guangzhou Evergrande where he excelled and helped them win the Asian Champions League, not that it made his move to Barca seem any less surprising.
He unfortunately 'embarrassed' himself when he failed with kick-ups at his grand unveiling and now his debut as a substitute has been turned into a 'highlights' video and it isn't exactly flattering:
