Former Charlton Athletic footballer Madeleine Wright claims she made half a million pounds from OnlyFans, following on from her sacking.

Just over a year ago, Wright announced she had set up a page on the service, with the subscription fee set at $33 (£24) per month.

Her venture into OnlyFans content came around a month after she was dismissed by Charlton after the club came across leaked SnapChat videos where she was reportedly seen 'inhaling from a balloon' and 'drinking champagne a the wheel of her Range Rover' Evoque.

The club had said she was remorseful for her actions and that she would still be provided access to their support channels.

But the full-back, who also played for Millwall, has been a resounding success on OnlyFans and admits her life has changed for the better.

"In the first year I made in the ballpark of half a million pounds," Wright told The Sun.

"I can't lie, it has completely changed my life.

"I was able to get my own place, I have been able to travel the world and have enjoyed a lot of luxurious things.

"As long as you learn from your mistakes, make the right moves going forward, there is light at the end of the tunnel."

The 23-year-old's popularity has soared on the platform, with 17,000 likes across her content, which is a mixture of pictures and videos where she poses in bikinis, lingerie and football shirts.

Her Instagram following has grown 20,000 to 261,000, while she has 54,000 followers on Twitter.

Wright is ranked sixth on the list of the most liked members on subscription services like OnlyFans and FanTime, with former UFC star Paige VanZant leading the way with a whopping 1.2 million likes.

Still, Wright hasn't packed football in altogether and still has dreams of playing professional football.
