Chelsea and France striker Olivier Giroud doesn't just scored worldies in matches: apparently he bangs them in for fun in training too.
The 34-year-old warmed up for the Euros in style by showing off his volleying skills on TikTok. A ball was fired at him on the edge of the box, so naturally an airborne Giroud just swivelled and absolutely rocketed it into the bottom corner, past a defeated goalkeeper.
Perfection from the big man, as you'd expect, who sprints away in wild celebration.
The goal was netted in Cobham in the week of Chelsea's Champions League final victory against Manchester City. And, while Giroud wasn't required from the bench as Chelsea sought to protect their 1-0 lead rather than chase the game, it at least shows he's in excellent touch heading into the Euros.
The big hunk used the clip to launch his new social media account, starting things off with an in-no-way-pre-planned chat with Chelsea's official Twitter account, where he asked them to DM the clip over to him for exciting and mysterious reasons.
Hey @chelseafc admin  can you send me a video of that goal I scored at Cobham last week? I want to share it. :soccer::raised_hands: Thanks!

You know where we think it would look really good though... :eyes::notes:

Let's see if the audience can find my new social media account now!
Giroud goes into the European Championship this summer second on France's all-time leading scorer list, seven goals behind Thierry Henry's record of 51. Although the presence of Karim Benzema - plus Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe - means he has plenty of competition for a starting spot.
Still Giroud, who scored six goals in eight games during Chelsea's successful Champions League campaign, has always had an ability to pull out a spectacular finish when most needed.
He's netted bicycle kicks, scorpion kicks and backheels. And - judging from his latest training footage - the French ace still has a few more spectacular rockets to launch yet.
