So, how exactly does World Cup qualifying work?
Ahead of next year's tournament, the qualifying format has changed.
Now, there are more groups than ever before, and they're smaller too.
There are only 12 World Cup qualifying groups in total, six will have four teams and the other will have five respectively.
The top team from each group will automatically qualify for the World Cup with the runners-up heading into the play-offs.
The final round of international qualifiers is currently underway and will run from November 13 to November 18. So, this is your final chance to buy tickets if you want to be a part of the crowd.
When is the 2026 World Cup taking place?
The 2026 World Cup will kick off on June 11, 2026 in Mexico City and will conclude on July 19 in New Jersey.
For the first time, the 39-day long tournament will feature 12 four-team groups.
