Vinicius Jr looks unrecognisable after medical procedure as images go viral
Vinicius Jr has hit headlines after appearing to make a drastic change to his appearance following a medical procedure.
The Real Madrid star is enjoying time off following on from Brazil's elimination from the World Cup at the quarter final stage.
He will soon link up with Jose Mourinho for Real's pre-season campaign but will do so sporting with a very different look.
Images surfaced on social media showing Vinicius with significant changes to his face and it was reported in an exclusive story from LeoDias that "underwent a facial aesthetic procedure in Goiania under tight secrecy".

Vinicius Jr returned from a holiday in Europe with his other half Virginia Fonseca before undergoing the surgery - described as "chin harmonization".

The outlet said the purpose of the procedure was to "project, define, and add contour to the chin" as well as enhancing facial features.
Dr Alessandro Alarcao flew in from Miami to carry out the procedure, which Vinicius' partner also had done.
To maintain a high level of privacy, the clinic did not have any other appointments that day as they closed the doors to public.
In addition, there were strict security protocols implemented in order to prevent leaks of any kind.
However, Dr Alarcao did share an image of he and Vinicius after the surgery - thanking him for having the procedure done at his clinic. The post on Instagram appeared to be removed but included the caption, "It was a great pleasure to welcome @vinijr to @luminiprivilege. Beyond being one of world football's greatest talents, he is a man of great humility and courtesy, with an infectious energy.
"Thank you for your trust and for the pleasant conversation. It was a pleasure having you at the clinic."
He also shared a picture on his story of he and Virginia, captioning it: “Thank you, my friend, for your trust. So grateful!”
A side profile shot of Vinicius signing a Real Madrid shirt also showed the change in his face and chin.
According The Sun, the cost of the treatment in the UK can vary between £3,000 to £14,000 depending on the level.
Users on social media were stunned at how different Vinicius looks and memes shared online prompted a response from former Chelsea star Ramires, who was compared to his compatriot.
Alongside a laughing emoji, he wrote, "You guys are joking around a lot, lol".
Vinicius Jr contract situation at Real Madrid ahead of new season
There is no confirmation when Vinicius will be back for Real's pre-season, which includes four games in Austria.
But there is a concern regarding his future at the Santiago Bernabeu as Vinicius has been unable to agree a new contract.
The former Flamengo player only has a year remaining on his current deal and a lack of agreement has led to speculation that he could move on.
However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is adamant that he will not be moving on this summer.
"Vini is one of the best players in the world and he is delighted to be a Madrid player," he said.
"He was decisive in winning the last two European Cups and he has one year left on his contract.
“There is still time, but I tell you Vinicius wants to stay at Madrid and I want him to stay.”
