Vinicus Jr travelled 6000 miles to get a tattoo and fans have already noticed a huge error in the design.

The Brazil international took advantage of Spanish football’s winter break by travelling stateside to get an eight-hour back tattoo in honour of his sporting icons

Away from football, Vinicius is an enormous basketball fan, having spent time with NBA icons LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the past.

And to honour his second favourite sport the Real Madrid star went to LA to visit world-famous tattoo artist Ganga and get a back tattoo of several basketball legends.

Having previously inked Carlos Alcaraz, Jake Paul and LeBron himself, Vinicius was in good hands with Ganga.

After a lengthy session, the 23-year-old turned to social media to show off his new tattoo, which honoured sporting legends Pele, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Muhammad Ali alongside his favoured No.7 and the words ‘Mentality’ and ‘Black Lives Matter’.

But fans noticed an error in the Jordan tattoo. The Chicago Bulls legend, widely considered the greatest basketball player of all time, was pictured shooting a free throw with his left hand - something he would rarely do as a right-hander.

Once spotted several fans noted the mistake on X, formally Twitter, despite the basketball star having once shot a free-throw left-handed in a show-boating display against the Atlanta Hawks.

One person said: “Jordan is right-handed lmao” while another added: “Swear MJ shoots with his right hand.”

A third said: “Lmao the tattoo artist did so much work and no one told him that Jordan is right-handed.”

Vinicius Jr’s Real Madrid will return to action on January 3rd when they take on 14th-place Mallorca, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side hoping to extend their lead at the La Liga summit over surprise-package Girona.
