Shocking behind-the-scenes footage shows Vincent Kompany completely losing his head in x-rated attack on his own player

It's not a great look for the former Burnley boss.

Vincent Kompany has been lambasted by fans after footage emerged of the Belgian unleashing an x-rated attack on one of his former players during his time at Burnley.

Kompany, who left the Clarets to join Bayern Munich this summer, enjoyed just two season as boss at Turf Moor.

Having won the Championship in 2022/23, Burnley were relegated from the Premier League last term, with Scott Parker now having been appointed as his replacement.

In exclusive video footage obtained from 'Mission to Burnley' - a behind-the-scenes look at the Clarets' journey under new ownership - Kompany can be seen unleashing a verbal attack during a training session, as you can see in the video above.

Questioning the demeanour of Icelandic international Johann Berg Gudmundsson, the former Manchester City defender did not exactly mince his words.

"Do not f****** test me, enough, enough with the f****** moaning," begins the Bayern boss in an exclusive clip.

"Enough of the f****** moaning, play football, you need to f****** work tomorrow for f****** everything.

"F****** play! How many times do I have to tell you, stop f****** moaning."

The footage has since gone viral online and supporters have taken a very dim view of his expletive-ridden rant at Gudmundsson.

Fans questioned his tactics during his time in charge at Turf Moor, especially given Burnley were relegated last season with a real whimper, but feel his training-ground antics crossed a line.

"A b******ing, I have no issue with. However, to belittle and insult someone, especially in front of everyone else? Awful," said one fan online.

"As much as 2022/23 was the best season ever, part of me has wondered for a while if VK just got lucky," said another.

"He is going to struggle with the big personalities at Bayern isn’t he," added one user on X.

Kompany was extremely successful as a player, winning four Premier League titles at Manchester City.

With the Belgian keen to transfer that winning culture into management, it will be interesting to see how he fares in Germany this season.

Bayern are of course looking to bounce back after finishing third in the table behind Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart last term.
