ITV have been forced to apologise twice after interviewing Tyson Fury during the first half of Soccer Aid 2025.

The annual match, which raises money for children's charity UNICEF, is being broadcast by ITV.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Fury is the co-manager of the England team at Old Trafford, alongside Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney.

But with Rooney also playing alongside his duties as manager, Fury was on media duty on the touchline.

Presenter Alex Scott, though, had to apologise for expletive language used by the 'Gypsy King'.

Fury was talking about what he was doing on the touchline during the match, before concluding by saying: "And s**t like that."

And during his pre-match team talk, he told his England players: "We are f***ing Spartans!"

After her apology for Fury's first expletive, Scott did add: "It's Tyson; we don't know what's going to happen."

The Morecambe-based star watched on during the first half as England went 2-0 in front against the World XI through goals from Rooney and ex-Everton, Manchester City and Lionesses star Toni Duggan.

It is Fury's first involvement in Soccer Aid - his brother Tommy has played in the match for the World XI on several occasions - and he was in less expletive form with his comments on the match as part of its launch in March.

He said: "Tyson Fury: ENGLAND MANAGER! Who would ever have thought it!? I have had some big fights in my career and the prospect of leading my England team to victory this June fills me with just as much excitement as any heavyweight fight!

"Everyone knows that I am a huge Manchester United fan too, so it's even more special for me that the game is at Old Trafford this year - and I get to manage one of my heroes, Wayne Rooney! How can we lose!?

"The work UNICEF does all around the world is so special and so important."
