Spurs fans have absolutely lost it with one man following their latest pre-season outing as they were beaten 2-1 by Bayern Munich.

The defeat was Spurs' first loss of pre-season, with Ange Postecoglou's side coming out victorious in all four of their previous friendlies against, Hearts, QPR, Vissel Kobe, and K-League Allstars.

However, despite the results Spurs fans had already become slightly nervous about their defensive capabilities as they conceded seven goals across the four games.

Although defeat to Bayern wouldn't normally be considered a disaster for a side like Spurs, particularly in pre-season, the German side were coming off a rather embarrassing showing as they were held to a 1-1 draw by amateur side 1.FC Duren.

Bayern took an early lead as Gabriel Vidovic fired past Guglielmo Vicario, and Vincent Kompany's side doubled their lead through Leon Goretzka in the second half.

Postecoglou's men managed to grab a late consolation through Pedro Porro, but it wasn't enough to stop Spurs fans making all the same complaint.

Following the result, fans took to social media to slam Daniel Levy for the way he is handling the summer transfer window with zero high-profile signings to date.

One fan commented: "This is getting ridiculous, sign some players ffs."

A second added: "Maybe if we actually signed some players other than an 18-year-old we might play better."

Another fan reiterated: "This is bad but our 18, 17, and 16-year-old signings will win us the league..."

A fourth pessimistic fan replied: "If we go into the season with a front 3 of ‘Son’ ‘BJ’ and ‘Kulu’ don’t be surprised if we finish 8th. Especially with Ange’s inept defensive setup."

A fifth fan added: "I’m not surprised. The team isn’t good enough because you’ve not made any signings. Without signings we are bang average. Facts."
