A Tottenham Hotspur insider has spoken about Thomas Frank's future following the defeat by Arsenal.

On Sunday afternoon, the first North London derby of the 25/26 season took place at the Emirates Stadium.

Premier League leaders Arsenal were a class above as a hat-trick from summer signing Eberechi Eze plus a goal by Leandro Trossard sealed a comfortable 4-1 win.

Brazil star Richarlison was the scorer for the visitors.

As a result, Spurs remained in ninth place in the Premier League table, while Arsenal extended their lead at the top to six points.

Following the defeat by Arsenal, pressure is beginning to mount on Frank, who replaced Ange Postecoglou this summer.

As per Football Insider, a Spurs source has spoken about Frank's future at the club.

According to former Spurs and Manchester United senior scout Mick Brown, a section of the Lilly Whites' supporters have already turned on Frank.

However, he has also stated that he doesn't see Spurs sacking Frank anytime soon.

He said: "That defeat against Arsenal has definitely piled the pressure on Frank. But if we forget that game for a second, they’re not in a bad position in the league, they’re without some key players and they’ve earned some impressive results.

"It hasn’t been a perfect start by any means, but despite that result, there are some positives to look at."

Brown added: "So from Tottenham’s point of view, I don’t think they’re planning to sack him at any stage soon. Obviously, losing badly against Arsenal is always going to have a huge impact on the manager both from the club and the fans because they’re not happy.

"Then the question becomes whether you write that off as a bad day at the office, or if it’s bigger than that are there are real concerns. That’s going to be one to keep an eye on over the next few weeks, because if they keep losing and the fans aren’t happy, then that often leads to the manager facing the axe."

Looking ahead, Spurs return to Champions League action on Wednesday night when they take on holders Paris Saint Germain at the Parc des Princes.
