Stormzy re-downloaded Twitter for the first time to laugh at Fantasy Football managers for one major error.

The British rapper hadn't tweeted since August 20, but couldn't resist returning to the social media platform, newly rebranded as X, to troll anyone playing FPL who captained Son Heung-min.

With three goals in his previous two matches, and a tasty looking fixture against 17th-placed Luton Town, the South Korean looked to be one of the standout captaincy picks.

However, the 1,777,421 managers who placed their faith in the Tottenham forward were left rueing their decision, after he picked up just three points at Kenilworth Road.

Despite a dominant start to the match, Yves Bissouma was shown his marching orders on the stroke of half-time after picking up two yellow cards in quick succession, leaving Spurs with an uphill battle in the second half.

All of a sudden, the major points haul many had hoped Son would achieve, and I include myself in that bracket, were left regretting their captaincy decision.

Son was the second most popular captain in Gameweek 8.

Ange Postecoglou's side did manage to steal all three points, though, after James Maddison brilliantly turned his man before finding Micky van de Ven in the penalty area, who found the back of the net with a first-time finish.

But Stormzy wasn't going to let managers forget their crucial mistake, with the 30-year-old hilariously tweeting: "Downloaded Twitter again to laugh at everyone who captained Son 🙏🏿 #FPL"

Meanwhile, over five million managers placed the armband on Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, and will be hoping he can do the business against Arsenal this afternoon.

679,861 opted to captain Mohamed Salah against Brighton, with both Maddison and Ollie Watkins also popular picks.

Who did you captain this weekend? Let us know in the comments.
