People can't believe what TNT Sports aired minutes after PSG vs Aston Villa ended

The beginning of the post-match analysis segment after PSG vs Villa took TNT Sports viewers by surprise.

TNT Sports viewers were left stunned at what the channel aired immediately after Paris Saint-Germain beat Aston Villa 3-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

Morgan Rogers put Villa 1-0 ahead at the Parc des Princes, but Desire Doue equalised for the hosts before half-time.

Goals from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and a second half stoppage time strike from Nuno Mendes put PSG in a commanding position ahead of the second leg.

Villa will now need to overturn that deficit at Villa Park to have a chance of reaching the semi-final of the competition for the first time since they won the European Cup back in 1982.

The second leg will take place on Tuesday, April 15 - days before the start of the 2025 World Snooker Championship.

In case you're wondering what the significance of that comparison is, the tournament will be broadcast live on TNT Sports for the first time after the channel 'merged' with Eurosport last month.

Qualifiers have gotten underway this week, with the main tournament set to get underway on Saturday, April 19.

Commentator Darren Fletcher promoted it on numerous occasions during PSG versus Villa, and there was a promo video aired after the game ended.

But what fans weren't counting on was who was in place to promote it.

Instead of anyone connected with snooker or sport in general, American Hollywood stars Jon Bernthal and Ben Affleck narrated the video.

They are both starring in 'The Accountant 2', an upcoming film which is being distributed internationally by Warner Bros. - who own TNT Sports.

Reacting to the promo video, one viewer said: "Why is Ben Affleck promoting the World Snooker Championship."

Another asked: "Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal talking about snooker? We're definitely in a simulation."

And a third wrote: "I'm sorry but the way Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal are saying "snooker" is blowing my mind."
