Fans are struggling to watch the FA Cup tie.

Disgruntled fans watching Sunderland vs. Newcastle United have spotted a 'horrific' error in the FA Cup clash.

Championship side Sunderland are hosting Premier League outfit Newcastle this lunchtime in the tie of the round.

But fans watching the Tyne-Wear derby on ITV are struggling big time as they have made their feelings clear on social media.

People online aren't happy with the shirts of Sunderland and Newcastle, complaining about a kit clash.

The Black Cats are in their trademark red and white stripes while the Magpies are donning their famous black and white stripes.

Sunderland are also wearing black shorts and red socks. As for Newcastle, they have white shorts and socks, with red lettering and numbering on the back.

Both teams wearing their home kits has made it hard viewing as fans hit out at the kit clash.

One X user wrote: "Horrific kit clash. Won’t someone think of us colour blind?!"

A second tweeted: "Oh no. The kit clash. This might be tough."

A third joked: "Can we restart the game without the kit clash, please?"

A fourth commented: "Feel sorry for anyone with sight impairments trying to watch the #SUNNEW match. The kit clash is shocking. Poor from @FA."

A fifth claimed: "I’m convinced the players are already struggling with this kit clash as much as we are."
