Newcastle United fans are calling for a star player to be 'released' after spotting his social media activity following their crushing defeat to Sunderland.
Sunderland came from behind to beat Newcastle 2-1 at St James' Park on Sunday.
Anthony Gordon opened the scoring in the 10th minute after the home side pounced on a Sunderland mistake.
But the visitors hit back with two unanswered goals in the second-half to secure a famous victory and league double, having beaten them 1-0 at the Stadium of Light in December.

Chemsdine Talbi drew level before Brian Brobbey scored his side's winner in the 90th minute.
Brobbey was awarded Player of the Match for his performance against Newcastle, with Sunderland taking to social media to praise his outing, calling him a 'hero'.
The post on Instagram was liked by Newcastle forward Yoane Wissa, who angered fans with his social media activity.
X user Geordie Josh called for Wissa to be 'released' as he pulled no punches.

HE wrote: "Yoane Wissa liking Sunderland’s Instagram photo of their MOTM after the derby. Release that weak, puny little excuse of a man right this instant. PATHETIC FOOTBALLER, BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY THIS CLUB HAS EVER SPENT. F**K OFF."
The DR Congo international later unliked the post, prompting another angry post from Geordie Josh.
In another post, he said "Unliked it already as someone from the media team would’ve told him, well I tell you what media person, tell the little useless prat from me he can either score 20 goals with the games we’ve got left in the season or he can fuck off out of my football club. WEAK, TWAT."
On Wissa, another Newcastle fan added: "We’re never coming back from this as a football club. Absolute calamity."

Alan Shearer slams 'pathetic' Newcastle United
Wissa entered the fray in the second-half and failed to influence proceedings.
Newcastle were ran ragged after the break, with Alan Shearer calling out his old team's second-half performance.
He described it as 'pathetic', 'weak' and 'lazy' in a damning post on social media.
On X, Shearer wrote: "A pathetic, weak, lazy, limp second half from Newcastle again #NEWSUN."
