Comedian Iain Stirling revealed every Soccer Aid player is given a goodie bag containing some ridiculous items.
The 14th edition of the charity match for UNICEF will kick off on Sunday 15 June at 19:30 BST with some huge names featuring in the game at Old Trafford.
Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Edwin van der Sar are set to return to the stadium they tasted so much success at during their time at Manchester United while Wayne Rooney will be participating in a player/manager role.
The World XI features huge names such as Carlos Tevez, David Trezeguet and Leonardo Bonucci, coached by a duo of Peter Schmeichel and Robbie Keane.
Celebrities such as Louis Tomlinson, Mo Farah, Bella Ramsey, Roman Kemp and Angry Ginge are also set to feature.
Love Island voiceover star Stirling will be in the commentary booth for the game after featuring in the game back in 2020 before hanging up his boots.
The comedian revealed on an appearance on the Have A Word podcast that players are given a goodie bag containing some wild items.
He claimed the gift bag is ‘next level’ containing the latest football boots, a Whoop wristband and some players were even given an ice bath.
Stirling said: “The gift bag you get in Soccer Aid is like next level. All your boots. All the latest boots, I’ve got these pair of Nike boots, I don’t really understand football boots, they are wasted on me. It’s like giving a toddler a PC, there’s no point.
“Got a Whoop, the whoop wristbands you get and some people got an ice bath. Like an ice bath?!”
Stirling featured for the World XI and was left stunned by Patrice Evra’s antics after being on the receiving end of a heavy challenge from Mark Wright.
He said: “Patrice Evra found the whole thing so easy, he got taken out by Mark Wright in the first half. It was such a low pace for him, he sat on a bike and angrily knocked out a 7k ride while demanding someone tell him who Mark Wright was.
“Then he just came out second half and just bombed up and down the left. There’s those players that are absolute game changers. We had Patrice Evra so we knew we were going to win.”
