Roy Keane could be set for an awkward exchange with his future son-in-law after a recent brutal comment.
Keane, 54, enjoyed a stellar career of his own, playing for the likes of Cobh Ramblers, Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Celtic.
During his time at Old Trafford, the Irishman lifted seven Premier League titles and one Champions League among other trophies.
Away from the pitch, Keane married Theresa Doyle back in 1997 and the pair have five children - Shannon, Caragh, Aidan, Leah and Alanna.

One of Keane's daughters, Leah, has been engaged to Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis since November 2024.
Harwood-Bellis, 23, made his England first-team debut on November 17, 2024, and scored during a 5-0 win over the Republic of Ireland.
However, the defender has since found it tough to return to the Three Lions squad.
Speaking recently on the Stick to Football podcast, Keane made a brutal comment which could relate to Harwood-Bellis, and it could cause an awkward exchange when the pair next see each other.
Keane said: "The worst thing is you know when players get one cap. I’d rather get none. They get you in, have a look at you and go, ‘You’re not coming back’. Not one."

Previously, Keane spoke about the pecking order in his family.
He explained in 2021: "I've always said top-level sport, it had to be all or nothing for me. I couldn't pick and choose my days. The kids are older now. I have more time, and it's cool.
"I have always been way down the pecking order in my house, in terms of the decisions... I mean way down.
"I'm just above the German shepherd, but maybe that's closer than I think. She comes down to me at 10 o'clock in the morning and I say, 'Are we going for a walk?' Even the dog is telling me what we're doing."
Sadly, his dog Jet, passed away in 2024, with Keane posting a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.
He wrote: "Thanks Jet for being so beautiful and loyal to our family. We will miss you."
