And while most bets crash and burn after the early kick off, it has now been revealed that one English punter won a shocking £50k overt the weekend after placing a incredible bet.
Ladbrokes took to social media to confirm that one London customer had incredibly predicted both teams to score across 15 games in Europe on Saturday, at combined odds of 2483/1.
Not only this, the accumulator was saved by two goals in the dying moments as Ipswich Town and Ligue One side Lens both scored injury time equalisers.

With the 13 previous games all coming in comfortably, it came down to Southampton v Ipswich Town and Lens vs Rennes for the huge accumulator to pay off.
The Saints took the lead early in the match as youngster Tyler Dibling found the back of the net five minutes into the match.
But the punter had to wait until 95th minute for the Tractor Boys to find their equaliser through captain Tom Morsy, meaning that there was just one more result to come through to secure the £50k.
Like in the Premier League fixture, it didn't take long for one side in the Ligue One clash to score after hosts Rennes were awarded a penalty in the 24th minute, scored by Arnaud Kalimuendo.
And once again, it wasn't until the 96th minute that Lens found the crucial equaliser as a goal from striker M'Bala Nzola secured the huge payout for the English punter.

Speaking about the acca, a Ladbrokes spokesperson said: "You'll do well to find a more impressive - and dramatic - acca than this all season... for not one, but two, late goals to go in your favour, with £50k on the line, truly is remarkable stuff. We've heard Lens is lovely this time of year... Ipswich isn't too bad, either!"
