Peter Crouch was hilariously asked if 'size matters' live on air, with Joe Cole responding in epic fashion.

Liverpool face Brentford in the early kick-off on TNT Sports this lunchtime.

Crouch and Cole joined TNT Sports presenter Lynsey Hipgrave for the Premier League fixture at the Gtech Community Stadium.

And when discussing Liverpool's forward options, Hipgrave asked Crouch if 'size matters' in a hilarious moment during the broadcast.

Crouch replied: "Oh, Lyns... what a question." Cole weighed in: "You'll have to ask the Mrs!"

Realsing what she asked the former Liverpool forward, Hipgrave stepped away from the podium before being left in hysterics.

Crouch then proposed the question to Cole, asking if it matters on a football field.

The question came after Liverpool unveiled their starting XI against Brentford, which showed Jurgen Klopp continuing with Darwin Nunez up front alongside Luiz Diaz and Diogo Jota, with Mohamed Salah returning to the squad following his involvement at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Nunez didn't start in his side's 3-1 defeat at Arsenal but made a cameo appearance, having picked up a knock against Chelsea.

But the Uruguayan started against Burnley last weekend and scored in their 3-1 victory at Anfield, with Jota and Luiz also getting on the score-sheet.
