Paul Pogba does not feature in a list of Monaco’s top 10 highest earners, despite turning down 'lucrative' offers to join the Ligue 1 club.
The former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder, 33, made a much-anticipated return to football in June 2025 after almost two years away from the game.
Pogba was provisionally suspended after being randomly tested following Juventus' opening game of the 2023-24 season against Udinese.
He agreed to mutually terminate his contract with the Italian club in November 2024 and received a four-year ban for doping after testing positive for the banned substance DHEA.

After denying any wrongdoing, the ban was later cut to 18 months following a successful appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Eight months later, Pogba signed a two-year contract with French club Monaco, although information about his salary was scarce until a recently-published report from L'Equipe detailed his estimated earnings.

According to the French publication, Pogba's monthly salary is below the €200,000 (£174,000) mark, which works out at around £44,000 per week.
The wage is said to be supplemented by substantial performance and appearance bonuses, but the midfielder has struggled for first-team minutes since his arrival, making just three substitute appearances in Ligue 1.
“For Paul, it wasn’t about the money,” a source told L'Equipe. “He turned down much more lucrative offers because he intended to show what he still had to offer in a competitive environment.”
Pogba was previously one of the highest earners in world football. He was reportedly pocketing around £290,000 per week at Manchester United.
Paul Pogba scores first goal since 2022 as Monaco come up against Brentford in friendly
Last month, the injury-plagued Pogba scored his first goal for Monaco as he featured in a friendly against Brentford's B team.
Speaking about his decision to join Monaco last year, he said: "I really liked the project. The conditions, the city, being in France, playing in Ligue 1, something I've never done."
"There were so many conditions and boxes that were ticked," he added. "The family, the history of the club... It was perfect, it came at the right time. It was the right choice."
