Newcastle United fans have been reacting on social media after seeing what Sandro Tonali did following the match against Manchester City.
On Wednesday night, Newcastle arrived at the Etihad Stadium with a huge mountain to climb as they looked to keep their defence of the Carabao Cup alive.
Last month, the Magpies were beaten in the first leg of their semi-final clash against City, with Antoine Semenyo and Rayan Cherki scoring to seal a 2-0 victory.
On Wednesday night, City were in no mood to let Newcastle back in as they raced to a 3-0 half-time lead thanks to a brace from Omar Marmoush and a goal by Tijjani Reijnders.

In the second half, Anthony Elanga scored for the visitors, but Eddie Howe's men's reign as Carabao Cup holders was ended with City winning 5-1 over two legs.
Pep Guardiola's side will take on Arsenal in the final at Wembley next month.

After the final whistle, Tonali angered Newcastle fans after being caught having a conversation with Guardiola.
The Italian midfielder, who was recently linked with a move away from St. James' Park, was seen chatting and sharing an embrace with the City boss.
Reacting on social media, one fan said: "That’s p****d me off."
Another tweeted: "Tonali knows what he’s doing."
A third fan added: "Just been hammered lets hug the opposition gaffer."
Someone else wrote: "He’s 100% gone in the summer."
A fifth commented: "Tonali isn't good enough for Newcastle, let alone City."
What did Pep Guardiola say to Sandro Tonali during FT chat?
During his post-match press conference, Guardiola was asked to share what he said to Tonali.
As per The Chronicle Live, he said: "What did I say (to Sandro Tonali?) My Italian is perfect, so that's why I can communicate with him. And we have an incredible friend in common from Brescia, Edoardo Piovani.
"And every time we are connected, I know his father some time ago, and all the time we met, we talked about his experience in Milan, the supporters, and how happy he is in Newcastle. He's a really, really top player, top, top, top player!"
