Micah Richards has agreed to do a brutal forfeit live on Sky Sports this weekend after losing a bet with popular streamer AngryGinge.

On Monday night, the fifth matchday of the Baller League season got underway at the Copper Box Arena in London, with teams managed by the likes of Ian Wright or Miniminter all in action.

The most dramatic part of the evening came as former Watford striker Troy Deeney was sent off on his debut, but another moment between former Manchester City star Richards and popular influencer AngryGinge went under the radar.

AngryGinge's team Yanited FC faced off against Deportrio FC, a side managed by Richards, alongside fellow pundits Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker, and before the game the Man City legend agreed to a bet that he'll now be massively regretting.

Heading into the game, Yanited FC were the only Baller League side to have won all four of their opening fixtures, and they extended this unbeaten run even further with a dominant 3-0 win over Deportrio.

But his opponent's impressive record didn't dent Richards' confidence pre-match, as he agreed to a bet with AngryGinge that will now mean he has to wear a pair of crocs resembling Disney character Lightning McQueen live on Sky Sports.

Throughout the years, many football managers have become famous for their touchline fashion.

Gareth Southgate has his iconic waistcoat, Arsene Wenger had his long coat and AngryGinge has his Lightning McQueen crocs.

But now, it'll be Richards' turn to try on the unique footwear during his next appearance on Sky Sports Super Sunday, and he's clearly not happy about it.

Had Deportrio won the match, then AngryGinge agreed he would have worn a wig while on his livestream, but thankfully for the influencer, he won't have to fulfil his side of the bet.

Speaking after the match as he tried the crocs on for the first time, Richards said: "They're a little bit sweaty, but I've got to give him (AngryGinge) credit.

"On the day, you were the better team. Defensively you were sound and attacking, you took your chances.

"But you know what I'm devastated about? I got beat by a man called Morgan. That's what I'm most devastated about today."
