Match of the Day viewers complained about an error during the first show of the new Premier League season.
The highlights show has undergone a number of changes this season, with Mark Chapman, Gabby Logan and Kelly Cates replacing Gary Lineker as lead presenter.
As per the Radio Times, the trio will share presenting duties 'equally' across Saturdays and Sundays, as well as for the BBC's Champions League highlights programme on Wednesdays.
Chapman's 'debut' - he has hosted MOTD as a stand-in for Lineker since 2009 but never with the official lead presenter tag - was described as 'excellent' by fans, with the broadcaster also hosting BBC Radio 5 Live's 'Sports Report' programme before the show began.

He was joined in the MOTD studio by Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney, who has joined the BBC as a pundit for the 2025/26 season.
Though fans noticed one error during the analysis section of Liverpool's game against Bournemouth.
The Reds won 4-2 at Anfield to kick off their title defence in perfect fashion, though Bournemouth did come from 2-0 down to equalise through two goals from Antoine Semenyo.
During the analysis of Bournemouth's first goal, however, the on-screen graphic identified left-back Milos Kerkez as the player that left Semenyo with too much space to run in to.

And Shearer commented: "They're very vulnerable, particularly down the sides in behind either full-back.
"There's Kerkez, he's on the way to attack when they haven't even got possession. That means he's five or six yards out of position."
Although the point was more general about Liverpool's tactical play and the use of their full-backs, Kerkez had already been replaced at that point, with Andy Robertson on the pitch at the time of Bournemouth's first goal and the player at fault.

The graphic did correct itself for the next clip to identify Robertson as Liverpool's left-back.
One fan commented: "Shearer on MOTD slagging off Kerkez for the first goal for being too attacking even though he'd already been subbed."
A second wrote: "He'd been OFF the pitch SUBBED four minutes earlier."
And a third stated: "That isn't Kerkez. It's Robertson."
