YouTuber and Manchester United fan Mark Goldbridge’s tweet about the Premier League has gone viral after Manchester City’s win against West Ham United.

On Saturday evening, Pep Guardiola’s men travelled to the London Stadium to take on Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham.

Defending Premier League champions City came away 3-1 winners thanks to a hat-trick from goal machine Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian has netted back-to-back trebles after his three goals against Ipswich Town last week.

Shortly after the final whistle, YouTuber Goldbridge held nothing back as he unleashed on the current state of the Premier League.

On social media, he wrote: “PL is dusted. BORING! Refs screwing Arsenal when we have a juggernaut about to do 7 in 8. You took the best league in the world and f**ked it.”

Earlier in the day, there was a controversial red card as Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium.

Midfielder Declan Rice was shown a second yellow card early in the second half after he nudged the ball away after a foul to delay the restart.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta was less than impressed with Chris Kavanagh’s decision.

The Spaniard said: “We came back after half-time really strong, and the referee made a decision that changed the course of the game. We probably still should have won the game but I was amazed. Amazed, amazed, amazed because of how inconsistent decisions can be.

“In the first-half there were two incidents where nothing happened, then in another critical area, the ball hits Declan's heel, he turns around, doesn't see the player and touches the ball. By law he can make that call but at this level, it's honestly amazing.”

Rice is set to miss Arsenal's next Premier League match, which is the North London derby against rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
