Wayne Rooney revealed that he partied with Manchester City players after the Blues' famous 6-1 win against Manchester United.
Premier League football returns this weekend, with the Manchester derby set to be the pick of the fixtures.
After last season's dramatic late turnaround for Manchester United, led by Amad at the Etihad, Rooney's former team will be hoping for a similar result on Sunday.
But the 39-year-old was at the centre of one of the most infamous Manchester derbies in history, when United were demolished at Old Trafford.

Speaking on the Wayne Rooney show, he said: "You could feel City coming up and getting closer to us.
"But to come to Old Trafford and win 6-1, I think that was a statement.
"It was horrible. Obviously, we went to 10 men, I have to say that as well.
"The second half just felt like it was goal after goal and you're just like, 'Ah, get me off this pitch.'

"After something like that, I'd never go out, I'd go home. I had a birthday party. City players were invited. I was literally sat there thinking, 'I need to cancel it.'
"And then obviously we've got the United lads and some of the City lads sat there."

Presenter Kelly Somers then asked if there was any interaction between players from the rivals.

"Yeah, course," Rooney replied.
"In the end, there was me, Crouchy, Harty, we all got up and did a song by Backstreet Boys.
"That was just the best way to get over it."
Back in October 2011, that Manchester derby was a clash between two of the best sides in the country.

United went into the game as the reigning Premier League champions, with City pushing for their first title since 1968.

City's commanding 6-1 victory at Old Trafford, coupled with a 1-0 win over their neighbours at the Etihad, propelled them to win the 2011-2012 Premier League title.
This time around, both Manchester sides come into this weekend's latest derby following mixed starts to the season.

After a convincing 4-0 win at Wolves on the opening weekend, Guardiola's men have suffered back-to-back defeats against Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton.
Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is also entering a critical period less than a year into his tenure.
They have four points from their opening three games, but face City, Chelsea and Liverpool in three of their next five fixtures and the testing run comes after the shock Carabao Cup exit to Grimsby Town, which leaves United with just two competitions to play for already.
Although Sunday's clash is no longer between two of the country's best sides, it is a crucial early-season clash for both managers.
