Manchester United supporters want the club to sign a certain player after he impressed during the UEFA Nations League final between Portugal and Spain on Sunday (June 8).
Spain took on Portugal in Munich, Germany, in what was an end-to-end game filled with quality.
World-class talent such as Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Bruno Fernandes all featured, with Ronaldo even praising his opponents ahead of the game.

"You’ve been talking about Lamine a lot and you’re right to do so because he’s very good,” Ronaldo told journalists.
"But I’d like to talk about the team. They’ve got Nico Williams, great midfielders like Pedri and their coach [Luis] de la Fuente is very good, very strong, very disciplined.”
Ronaldo continued: "The kid [Yamal] has been doing very well, but what I ask is for you to let him grow, not put him under pressure. For the good of football, we need to let him grow in his own way and enjoy the talent he has.”

But Manchester United fans were particularly impressed by another top talent.
Portugal left-back Nuno Mendes dealt with Yamal better than most have done during his short career and even set up Ronaldo’s equaliser to make it 2-2.
And fans were quick to give their thoughts on social media.
One fan said: "The things I would do to have Nuno Mendes as our LWB at Man Utd."

A second added: "Nuno Mendes is best FB in the world man, the way he locks up the opposition's best player while contributing massively in attack is what being a top FB is all about. Bring back flying FBs."
A third explained: "We almost scammed Nuno Mendes into coming to Man Utd."
Meanwhile, Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague said: "Lamine Yamal in Nuno Mendes has found his nemesis," when speaking on ITV.
Mendes even stepped up and scored his penalty during the shoot-out, which saw Portugal crowned Nations League champions.

The PSG full-back had previously been linked with a move to United but is now an important part of Luis Enrique's side. Mendes made 47 appearances under Ruben Amorim at Sporting before he signed for PSG in 2022.
The 22-year-old is contracted to PSG until June 2029 and will likely remain at the Ligue 1 club.
