Man Utd fans are seriously concerned Ruben Amorim has been ‘broken’ by the players as training footage emerges

A number of Manchester United fans are convinced Ruben Amorim has been 'broken' by his players after footage from training emerged on social media.

Back in October, Dutchman Erik ten Hag was dismissed after yet another dreadful start to the campaign.

United then picked out Portuguese Amorim as Ten Hag's replacement due to his impressive record at Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Despite some early signs of improvement, Amorim has so far failed to fully implement his playing style onto his squad.

After last weekend 3-1 defeat by Brighton and Hove Albion, the Red Devils are currently 13th in the Premier League table, 24 points adrift of leaders Liverpool.

This week, United fans have been reacting on social media after a clip from a training session emerged.

The video showed the players partaking in a drill before the camera panned to Amorim, who was looking on from afar.

Reacting, one fan said: "They broke my manager."

Another tweeted: "We all knew it was never going to be easy but damn!!!"

A third fan added: "Ahh this squad has got to my man."

However, a few pointed out that the video was from a while ago.

Someone else wrote: "Post an old video with a stupid caption for interactions..."

A fifth commented: "This is from when he first joined haha. It's just how he watches training."

United are back in action on Thursday night in a mouth-watering clash against Scottish side Rangers in the UEFA Europa League.

Speaking ahead of the match, Amorim said: "We need the first thing, in my mind, they cannot score. We need to score the first one and if we scored the first one that would change [things] and we would play better at home in the beginning.

"That is it and I think we are really clear that we are anxious playing, especially at home, and we are suffering goals then it is really hard. I think it is clear for everybody that it is getting harder to play at Old Trafford."

After Rangers, United will return to Premier League action this weekend when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday night.
