Hojlund's FPL price has been revealed.

New Manchester United signing Rasmus Hojlund's price on Fantasy Premier League (FPL) has been revealed.

The 20-year-old was officially unveiled as a United player on Saturday, after a protracted transfer saga involving former club Atalanta.

Despite BBC Sport reporting that United would stick to their own valuation of the player, they eventually agreed an initial ยฃ64 million fee, plus a potential ยฃ8 million in add-ons, to sign the forward.

He is likely to be unavailable for United's opening Premier League fixture of the season against Wolves through what has been described as a 'small issue'.

But it will not be long before Hojlund makes his official debut for the club - and manager Erik ten Hag will hope he can plug a critical gap up front.

Along with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, the Dane is one of only three centre forward options for the Dutchman to choose from. But with Rashford often playing on the left side of attack and Martial currently injured, Hojlund could find himself leading the line as soon as he is fully fit.

With that in mind, his FPL price could be something of a bargain.

Following his signing, the official Fantasy Premier League account has revealed how much the new United wonderkid will cost on FPL.

The Dane comes in at ยฃ7.0m - half the price of last season's top point scorer Erling Haaland.

He also costs less than Newcastle's Callum Wilson, Liverpool duo Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo, and Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic.

And with United perceived to have a 'relatively' easy start to the season in terms of fixtures by FPL - out of their opening nine games, only one is rated more than three out of five in difficulty - Hojlund may be an ideal early option.

FPL users are not exactly spoilt for choice up front, with Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus and Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku set to miss at least the opening day of the season.

Mitrovic has reportedly told family members he will never play again for Fulham due to interest from Saudi Arabia, while FPL favourite Ivan Toney is banned from football until 2024 due to breaches of the FA's betting rules.
