Manchester United fans have completely changed their minds on one player after his performance in a pre season match against Bournemouth.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, the Premier League Summer Series continued at the Solider Field in Soldier Field with four sides from the English top flight in action.
David Moyes lost to his former club in the first match as West Ham United beat Everton 2-1 before Manchester United got the better of Bournemouth in a 4-1 clash.
Several players impressed during United's dominant win, despite the fact that new signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo were both absent from the matchday squad.

But there is one player in particular that fans have taken to social media to praise as they apologised for previous comments about him.

Rasmus Hojlund, Patrick Dorgu, Amad and Ethan Williams were United's goalscorers during the match on Thursday, but fans believe that Dorgu in particular stood out from the others.
Shortly after assisting the Hojlund to establish United's lead, the Danish defender doubled United's goal tally following a free kick from Mason Mount, and fans swarmed to social media to praise his efforts.

Reacting to Dorgu's performance, one fan on X wrote: "If we are being honest, Dorgu will be among the best LB in the world in the next few years. Such a talent."
Another added: "United unrecognisable, there. Absolutely mint performance. So many positives to take. t’s been a really encouraging pre-season tour so far. Plenty of top displays but Patrick Dorgu… big campaign coming. Serious player."
While one simply stated: "First thing first, Dorgu I am sorry."
And one made a bold claim, writing: "Dorgu, United player of the season 25/26."

Dorgu's performance also saw him earn the man of the match of the award and drew praise from United manager Ruben Amorim.
“It’s impressive. He’s 20 years old. He looks more like he belongs at Man Utd. He’s so powerful and he’s getting his technique right. His defending also," said the United boss.
Manchester United will face Everton late on Sunday evening for their final match of the Premier League Summer Series, before facing Serie A side ACF Fiorentina at Old Trafford in their final pre season fixture.
