Marcus Rashford has reportedly offered himself to a major European club amid reports he will leave Manchester United this summer.

Since Ruben Amorim's arrival at Manchester United in November, it has felt like Rashford's time at his boyhood club was coming to an end.

This feeling was all but confirmed a month later when the forward revealed that he was considering leaving United to take on a new challenge in an interview with respected journalist Henry Winter.

But now, it appears that Rashford has figured out exactly which club he wants to join when the transfer window opens this summer, and he's even willing to take a pay cut to secure a move.

During the recent winter transfer window, Rashford was linked with several of the biggest clubs in Europe, but ultimately decided to join United's fellow Premier League side Aston Villa on loan until the end of the season.

Despite impressing during his spell at Villa Park, it is believed to be unlikely that Rashford will make his move there permanent in the summer, with the United winger instead firmly hoping he can secure a move to Barcelona.

According to a report from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Rashford has enlisted the highly experienced football agent Pini Zahavi to help boost is chances of joining the La Liga giants due to his close links to the club.

Zahavi's is said to have good relationship with Barcelona president Joan Laporta , and is the current manager of both Hansi Flick and Robert Lewandowski.

Given the fact that Barcelona were one of the clubs said to be interested in a loan deal for Rashford over the winter, the United star believes that Zahavi will be able to act as an intermediary who can ensure a summer deal is successful.

The report adds that a loan move would be Barcelona's preference, given that Rashford has a contract with United until 2028, but he would even be willing to lower his wage at United in order to make the process as smooth as possible.

Talks between Rashford's team and Barcelona are believed to have already be in early stages, with a final decision to be made after the end of the season.
