Marcus Rashford has reportedly made his feelings clear as Barcelona have agreed personal terms with Athletic Club winger Nico Williams.
Rashford, 27, enjoyed a loan spell at Aston Villa during the second half of the 2024/25 campaign, but as things stand, his future is still unclear.
As for Williams, 22, he could soon be playing for Barcelona.

As reported by The Athletic, Barca have reached a verbal agreement with Athletic Club’s Williams and “do not view the forward’s €60million (£50m, $62m) release clause as an obstacle to a deal this summer”.
Despite interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich, Williams is said to have made Hansi Flick’s side his priority.

However, the report goes on to explain how, although the release clause is not perceived to be an issue, Barca still face a challenge to make room for his hefty wages, which are thought to be preventing the completion of the deal at this time.

Williams, who is right-footed but usually plays off the left flank, will have competition for a starting spot in Barca’s side as Ballon d’Or contender Raphinha made the position his own as the Catalans secured a domestic treble last season.
So, where does this leave Rashford?
It has been widely reported that Rashford’s preference would be a switch to Barcelona.
In May, the club’s sporting director Deco made no secret of his admiration for Rashford.

"We like Luis [Diaz], we like [Marcus] Rashford, and we like other players," Deco told Catalan radio station RAC1.
"When we go to the market, there are names that we know and that could improve the team."
And despite Williams and Rashford seemingly playing in the same position, Mundo Deportivo reports that the United star is still interested in a potential move to Barca and “believes his arrival is compatible with that of Nico Williams because he can occupy all three attacking positions and could be a good alternative to Lewandowski".

MD also claims that United’s asking price for Rashford will be near €30 million, but a loan may also work for all parties involved.
Another report from The Sun, claims that Newcastle United could provide a platform for Rashford to rekindle his Premier League career if Alexander Isak were to leave this summer.
Barcelona have also been been linked with move for Liverpool's Luis Diaz but earlier in June BBC Sport reported that the Premier League club have made clear that the Colombian is not for sale.
