Manchester United fans believe they've spotted a major transfer hint in the club's latest kit launch ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

United officially unveiled their new home kit for next season on Monday.

The kit, designed by Adidas, features the club's traditional home colours of a red shirt, white shorts and black socks.

The design is said to take inspiration from a shirt worn by the Busby Babes in 1952, which was made from reflective materials to aid visibility on the pitch in the early years of playing under floodlights.

United fans believe they've spotted a potential transfer clue in the club's launch of the new kit.

While the announcement unsurprisingly included the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund, it was the inclusion of another player that caught the eye.

Casemiro also featured in the official launch, with the Brazilian midfielder seen sporting the new kit on the club's website.

He has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer after a disappointing individual campaign last term.

The Brazilian has seemingly been overtaken by Kobbie Mainoo in the midfield pecking order under Erik ten Hag and has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Reports claim Al Hilal and Al Nassr have both expressed an interest in signing Casemiro, who still has two more years left on his United contract.

The Brazilian is one the highest-paid players in the Premier League, on around £350,000 per week, and recent reports have claimed United are willing to sell the midfielder this summer.

But fans believe his inclusion in the kit launch suggests he could remain at Old Trafford for another season yet.

"Casemiro is not leaving," posted one fan on X.

Another added: "I hope we keep him as a back-up cdm."

While a third wrote: "Looks like he's staying then."

Speaking in May, Casemiro insisted he still has the quality and energy to play in the Premier League.

"I feel very well, very well," he told Sky Sports. "I'm really well, I feel healthy, with energy and the same mentality I always had.

"I guess people end up talking about the age factor, but it's been proven. Recently, our friend Thiago Silva, at the age of 39 coming here and showing that, yes, you can play. The previous Ballon d'Or winners were over 34.”

He added: "I'm well, I'm happy, living every day I get to play here. As I usually say, Manchester United gave me what I wanted.

"This joy of being able to enjoy the game, enjoy the Premier League. So, I'm happy to be here at Manchester United and enjoying the game."
