Manchester United will not listen to offers for three of their biggest stars this summer, according to a recent report.

After weeks of speculation over the future of Erik ten Hag, an end-of-season review from Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS team concluded that he was the best man to lead the club into the new season.

Despite a poor season, United's FA Cup triumph over rivals Manchester City coupled with the lack of quality alternatives seemed to have secured the Dutchman at least another year in the Old Trafford hot seat.

The news now allows the Red Devils to move forward with their summer transfer window plans with Champions League qualification a must next season.

Now a new hierarchy is in place there's expected to be a clear out this summer, with stars Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane already leaving upon the expiry of their contract.

Many others could follow with United willing to listen to offers for most of their stars. However, three are definitely going nowhere according to the Daily Mail.

Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo are seen as three players who United want to build their future around and aren't for sale.

However, a number of other players could be sold to raise much-needed transfer funds.

"It speaks volumes that, outside of a small group including the likes of Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, United will entertain offers for most of their squad," read the report.

Fans will welcome the news that the trio are staying put, given those players offered a bright spark in a difficult campaign last season.

United have a history of putting faith in their younger players and Ten Hag looks set to continue that with Hojlund, Garnacho and Mainoo.

The fact that the Red Devils also aren't ruling out transfers for Marcus Rashford and captain Bruno Fernandes is a potential sign they are willing to make big decisions provided they are right for the club going forward.

Ultimately a change in transfer strategy is clear, with Ten Hag set to adopt a head coach role with a sporting director leading recruitment and technical director Jason Wilcox deciding the style of play.

Given the poor success of some of Ten Hag's recent recruits, such as Antony and Mason Mount, it's not a surprise the club are moving in a new direction.
